Description:
  This is the annual meeting of the principal investigators of the PSI2 Research Network and the members of the Protein Structure Initiative Advisory Committee. 

 

December 7:  During this all-day public meeting presentations will be offered by NIH staff, the principal investigators of all ten of the PSI2 Research Centers, the two recently funded Homology Modeling Centers and the new Protein Structure Initiative Materials Repository.  From mid-afternoon the PSI2 Steering Committee, consisting of the Research Center directors, external scientific advisors, NIH staff and a representative of the Protein Data Bank, chaired by Wayne Hendrickson,
Ph.D., will provide reports from the constituent subcommittees on target selection, goals and milestones, inter-center relations and scientific community interactions.  After the close of this meeting a dinner will be held at a Bethesda area restaurant. 

December 8:  This closed half-day meeting will be for invited participants only, including the PSI advisory committee and Federal staff.
