Computer Science Section

The Computer Science Section provides computing capability for the Division staff to keep members current with the latest technology and to help maximize productivity. Specifically, the technical support of the Computer Science Section includes the following areas:

  • Providing epidemiologic and statistical computing expertise
  • Providing central procurement and management of hardware and software
  • Providing expert data management guidance
  • Serving as help desk to Division staff
  • Acting as liaison between Division staff and sources of technology
  • Managing computing accounts and computing contracts
