Welcome to the Middle East Cancer Consortium (MECC) Web site.

Established in 1996, the MECC is a unique partnership between the United States and the Ministries of Health of Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, the Palestinian Authority, and Turkey.

Calling attention to:

  • Tracy's Kids International Art Exchange: The Tracy's Kids Art Therapists hosted a gallery talk on May 16 in the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center Atrium at Georgetown University Hospital. They discussed the International Art Exchange exhibit entitled, "The day I will never forget..." The exhibit featured 188 pieces of art created by pediatric hematology-oncology patients in the U.S. and four MECC member countries -- Jordan, Israel, Egypt, and Turkey.
