The Renal Technology Development program would encompass trials, studies, or development of new technology applicable to the diagnosis, monitoring or treatment of acute or chronic renal disease. This includes new methods to assess renal function by measuring glomerular filtration rate (invasively or via surrogate, noninvasive methods), renal plasma flow, urinary protein excretion; renal biopsy techniques and tissue assessment; renal imaging.
