Priscilla Logan is a newly hired Senior Administrative Officer in the NIDDK’s Extramural Administrative Management Branch. She has worked at the National Institutes of Health for 17 years. In 1991, she began working for NIH as a student within the Stay-in-School program and about 3 years later, was offered a permanent position at the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) as an Office Automation Clerk in the Administrative Management Branch. This eventually led to a new position as an Administrative Technician the following year. Priscilla was the primary procurement official for approximately 5 laboratories in the Intramural Research Program. Over the years, she was promoted to an Administrative Officer in 1999. As an AO, she was responsible for managing the administrative activities, such as personnel, travel, procurement, property, and budget reporting, for various laboratories in NIAAA.
Most recently Priscilla served as the Lead Change Management Specialist for the Acquisition module of the NBS responsible for Acquisition communications for the NIH Business System. She was also the Lead Change Management Specialist for Travel and the impending GovTrip implementation.
Priscilla holds a B.S. degree in Sociology & Behavioral and Social Sciences from the University of Maryland-University College.
