New Findings Magazine Available

Format: Magazine
Institute: National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS)

The March 2007 issue of Findings magazine includes profiles of two scientists doing cutting-edge medical research. You can also read about cleft palate research, a new AIDS drug, fighting fruit flies, and more.

The issue offers a chance to meet Cynthia Otto, a research veterinarian finding ways to heal critically ill animals and people faster and more reliably, and synthetic biologist Drew Endy, whose quirky approach to communicating science to students yielded the comic book Adventures in Synthetic Biology.
