VIEW:
The Arkansas Special Populations Access Network (ASPAN) was established to foster and expand partnerships with community organizations and to promote cancer control activities targeting underserved and minority populations throughout the state. The project focused its efforts on three geographic areas (the Delta, Central Arkansas, and Northwest Arkansas) with populations at significantly increased risk for cancer health disparities (African Americans; rural, low-income populations; underserved urban populations; and Hispanics).
