H. R. 3750 —The Vision Preservation Act of 2007

On October 4, 2007, Representative Gene Green (D-TX) introduced H.R. 3750, the Vision Preservation Act of 2007, to provide for the expansion of Federal programs to prevent and manage vision loss. Provisions of the bill would require that the Secretary of HHS, acting through CDC, HRSA, and NIH, expand and intensify programs to increase awareness of vision problems. H.R. 3750 was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
