H.R. 1743—The Liver Research Enhancement Act of 2007

On March 28, 2007, Representative Stephen Lynch (R-MA) introduced H.R. 1743, the Liver Research Enhancement Act of 2007. H.R. 1743 would establish (1) a National Center on Liver Disease Research within NIDDK and (2) the Liver Disease Research Advisory Board to assist the Director of the Center in developing the Liver Disease Research Action Plan. The legislation was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
