Comments Occupational asthma from colophony; Colophony (rosin) is also used in paper sizing, adhesives, paints, varnishes, printing inks, and plasticisers. Colophony is known to cause allergic contact dermatitis; occupational asthma has been documented for soldering (heated rosin) and for the process of manufacturing rosin core solder.
