Biosketch:
Una Grewal, Ph.D., M.P.H., joined the Epidemiology Branch as a staff scientist in September 2007. She received her graduate degrees from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. As a postdoctoral fellow at the March of Dimes/California Birth Defects Monitoring Program, in Berkeley, California, she examined factors associated with birth defects, such as maternal smoking and alcohol consumption, paternal age, and socioeconomic status. Her primary research interests include women's reproductive health and the etiology of birth defects.
