H.R. 3039—To enact title 51, United States Code, “National and Commercial Space Programs,” as positive law

On June 22, 2005, Representative James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) introduced H.R. 3039, to enact title 51, United States Code, “National and Commercial Space Programs,” as positive law. Section 902 would require NASA and NIH to establish a biomedical research joint working group to coordinate biomedical research activities in areas where a micro gravity environment may contribute to significant progress in the understanding and treatment of diseases and other medical conditions. The bill was referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary.
