NIDDK Awareness and Prevention Series

Ideal for health fairs and similar venues, the NIDDK Awareness and Prevention Series presents brief overviews of common health problems in a colorful 2-page format. The pages—one in English and the other in Spanish—can be separated and distributed individually. Designed for people not yet diagnosed with diabetes or digestive, kidney, or urologic disorders, the handouts prompt readers to ask themselves, “Could this be me or someone I care for?” Readers are encouraged to seek further information from the NIDDK or their health care provider.
