Ruth Kirschstein Individual NRSA Predoctoral Fellowships (F31)Supports registered nurses for mentored research training leading to a doctoral degree in areas related to the mission of the NINR.
Ruth L. Kirschstein Individual NRSA Postdoctoral Fellowships (F32)Supports postdoctoral research training for registered nurses to broaden their scientific background and extend their potential for research in specified health-related areas related to the mission of NINR.Senior NRSA Fellowships (F33)Supports experienced scientists with a doctoral degree to make major changes in the direction of their research careers, to broaden their scientific background, to acquire new research capabilities, and to enlarge their command of an interdisciplinary research field.
National Research Service Award (T32)The T32 enables schools of nursing with research programs to provide full-time predoctoral and postdoctoral research training. The institution selects the trainees to be appointed. NINR has one receipt date per year on May 25.
