Biosketch: 
Anne Zajicek is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric clinical pharmacologist. After earning her Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Duquesne University in 1982, Dr. Zajicek went on to obtain her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1985. Dr. Zajicek then completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Pharmaceutics of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in 1987, and held a position of assistant professor at the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy and clinical pharmacist at National Jewish Hospital and Research Center, from 1987-91. In 1991, Dr. Zajicek entered medical school at the University of Pittsburgh. She completed a pediatrics residency at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in 1998. Dr. Zajicek then continued her training as a pediatric clinical pharmacology fellow at Stanford University. She subsequently joined the Food and Drug Administration in the Office of Clinical Pharmacology and Biopharmaceutics. She joined the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development as a Pediatric Medical Officer in August 2003, and is the Project Officer for the Best Pharmaceuticals for Children Act Coordinating Center, the BPCA-sponsored study of the "Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of Sodium Nitroprusside in Pediatric Subjects", multiple BPCA-sponsored pediatric oncology studies, and the Program Officer for the Obstetric Pharmacology Research Units Network.
