Overweight Hispanic and Latino Americans are at an increased risk for developing type 2 diabetes. But there is good news: Diabetes can be prevented. The NDEP's "Prevengamos la diabetes tipo 2. Paso a Paso" campaign can help you learn about the small steps you can take to prevent diabetes - losing a small amount of weight by getting 30 minutes of physical activity most days and making healthy food choices.
