Children's Environmental Health Network

The Children's Environmental Health Network is a national project dedicated to children's environmental health. The Network is the only national multi-disciplinary project in the country whose sole purpose is to protect the health of children as it relates to environmental hazards. The Network's mission is to promote a healthy environment and to protect the fetus and the child from environmental hazards. Three areas of concentration for the network are education, research, and policy.

National Environmental Health Association

The National Environmental Health Association had its origins in the state of California where it was incorporated in 1937. The original impetus behind the creation of a national professional society for environmental health practitioners was the desire by professionals of that day to establish a standard of excellence for this developing profession. Members can participate in the association through nine distinct technical sections including Air/Land/Water, Environmental Health Management, Food Protection, General Environmental Health, Injury Prevention/Occupational Health, Institutional Environmental Health, Hazardous and Toxic Substances, On-Site Wastewater Management and International Environmental Health.
