S. 6—The Comprehensive Homeland Security Act of 2003

On January 7, 2003, Senator Thomas Daschle (D-SD) introduced S. 6, the Comprehensive Homeland Security Act of 2003. Among its provisions, the bill would authorize an additional $600 million for NIH, including additional funds for biodefense research and anthrax vaccine procurement. S. 6 was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
