Meeting of the National Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases Advisory Council When: September 13, 2005 Where: NIH Campus, Bethesda, MD Institute: National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) The National Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases Advisory Council is a congressionally mandated NIH peer review group that meets three times a year. It provides advice to NIAMS on broad policy issues and makes recommendations on research proposals. It comprises scientific and lay members who have expertise in the mission areas of the Institute. The morning session of the advisory council meeting includes a report from the director of NIAMS, and is open to the public.
