Research Agenda Publications

Background:

The ORWH has developed an agenda for women's health research. During 1997 and 1998, ORWH convened a series of four national meetings to examine and revise the initial scientific agenda on women's health research.

More than 1,500 individuals representing the scientific community, the health care and health policy communities, health care providers, members of advocacy organizations, and the general public participated in these meetings.

Recommendations from this process have been published in the ORWH report, Agenda for Research on Women's Health for the 21st Century (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader).

Working in partnership with the NIH Institutes, ORWH is now implementing recommendations and priorities from the agenda.
