S. 2000—Special Postage Stamp for Breast Cancer Research

On December 9, 2003, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) introduced S. 2000, Special Postage Stamp for Breast Cancer Research; and it was passed by the Senate without amendment by unanimous consent. The measure would amend Federal postal law in order to extend the U.S. Postal Service’s authority to issue special postage stamps to help provide funding for breast cancer research through December 31, 2005. The companion measure, H.R. 1385, was introduced by Representative Joe Baca (D-CA) on March 20, 2003.
