H.R. 2276—National Institutes of Health Security Act

On May 22, 2003, Representative Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) introduced H.R. 2276, the National Institutes of Health Security Act. This bill would raise the pay of NIH Police, designate them as Law Enforcement Officers, and provide for improved retirement and death benefits. The bill was introduced with 12 co-sponsors and was jointly referred to the House Committees on Government Reform and on Energy and Commerce.
