NIDCR Program staff will review the NOMMI application and notify the applicant of a decision within six (6) weeks after submission.
Successful applicants will be instructed on how to contact the PFGRC to obtain delivery of the slides and information on how to maximize success in using the slides. Investigators will be required to sign a Simple Letter of Agreement in order to transfer the unpatented microarrays from TIGR to the recipient organization.
Typically, a small number of “low quality” slides will be sent to the laboratory to test the hybridization and reading procedures. Once all procedures are working correctly, high quality slides will then be provided as soon as possible.
