Process Name Painting (Solvents)
Description Types of organic chemicals used as paint solvents include aromatic, aliphatic, glycol ethers, chlorinated solvents, terpenes, alcohols, acetates, and ketones. Significant exposure can occur in spray painting and in brushing or rolling. [Burgess, p. 248-50] See "Painting (Pigments, Binders, and Biocides)."
