The NDEP consists of public and private partners working together to improve treatment, promote early diagnosis, and prevent the onset of diabetes.

National Kidney Disease Education Program (NKDEP)

The NKDEP is dedicated to reducing the morbidity and mortality of chronic kidney disease and its complications by improving early detection of CKD, facilitating identification of patients at greatest risk for progression to kidney failure, promoting evidence-based interventions to slow progression of kidney disease and improving the coordination of Federal responses to CKD.

Weight-control Information Network (WIN)

A national source of information on weight control, WIN produces and collects materials on obesity and weight-related nutritional disorders and disseminates them to health professionals and the public.
