Biosketch
DeChristoforo came to the Clinical Center Pharmacy Department as a senior staff pharmacist in 1979. Since then he has been clinical pharmacist for NCI’s Pediatric Oncology Branch; assistant to the Pharmacy Department chief for clinical services; assistant to the chief for drug information and professional services; quality assurance officer; chief of the clinical pharmacy section, including an oncology satellite pharmacy; and chief of the inpatient pharmacy section, which includes unit dose and sterile products areas staffed by approximately 30 pharmacists and technicians. He retired from the Commissioned Corps of the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) January 1, 2005 at the rank of Captain.
