The purpose of this Notice is to announce that NHLBI is withdrawing PA-04-028, "Competing Continuation Awards of SBIR Phase II Grants for Heart, Lung, Blood, and Sleep Disorders".

The funding opportunity (FOA) for NHLBI Phase II Competing Renewal Awards is now described in PHS 2006-02 Omnibus Solicitation of the NIH, CDC, and FDA for Small Business Innovation Research Grant Applications (Parent SBIR[R43/R44]). The Program Announcement (PA) Number is PA-06-120 and the application submission dates are April 1, 2006 ; August 1, 2006 ; December 1, 2006 . Applications must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov (http://www.grants.gov) using the SF424 Research and Related (R&R) forms and the SF424 (R&R) SBIR/STTR Application Guide.
