To Understand the Aging Process (1980)
The Baltimore Longitudinal Study
of the National Institute on Aging
Les Higbie, a volunteer subject in the Baltimore Longitudinal Study of Aging, authored this booklet and is pictured in the illustrations. His participation in the study gave him a special insight into research on aging that the ordinary writer might not have. His interest in the subject was probably due to having been poked and prodded in the name of science for 20 years.
