Tracy's Kids International Art Exchange Exhibit
During the month of May, the Tracy's Kids Art Therapists hosted an International Art Exchange exhibit at the Lombardi Cancer Center Atrium at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. The exhibit was entitled, "The day I will never forget..." and featured 188 pieces of art created by pediatric hematology-oncology patients in the U.S. and four MECC member countries -- Jordan, Israel, Egypt, and Turkey. Tracy Councill, Program Director for Tracy’s Kids, drew inspiration for the exhibit from the collaborative spirit displayed during several MECC meetings she attended in 2007.
