S. 3807—The Enhancing Drug Safety and Innovation Act

On August 3, 2006, Senator Michael Enzi (R-WY) introduced the Enhancing Drug Safety and Innovation Act. Title III of the bill would replace the current statute establishing clinicaltrials.gov with new language that would expand it and require the establishment of a another publically available database containing information about clinical trial results. The bill was referred to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP).
