S. 228—The Men’s Health Act of 2005

On February 1, 2005, Senator Michael Crapo (R-ID) introduced S. 228, the Men’s Health Act of 2005. The bill would amend the Public Health Service Act to establish an Office of Men's Health in the Department of Health and Human Services (not at NIH). The bill was referred to the Senate HELP Committee. A companion measure, H.R. 457, sponsored by Representative Randy “Duke” Cunningham (R-CA) was introduced on February 1.
