S. Res. 335—The Occurrence Of Prostate Cancer In African-American Men

On September 27, 2007, Senator John Kerry (D-MA), introduced S. Res. 335, recognizing that the occurrence of prostate cancer in African-American men has reached epidemic proportions and urging Federal agencies to address that health crisis by designating additional funds for research, education, awareness outreach, and early detection. S. Res. 335 was referred to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. The companion measure, H. Res. 288, was introduced by Representative Gregory Meeks (D-NY), on March 29, 2007.
