H.R. 2421—The Combating Autism Act of 2005

On May 18, 2005, Representatives Mary Bono (R-CA) and Diana DeGette (D-CO) introduced H.R. 2421, the Combating Autism Act of 2005. H.R. 2421 would increase research, screening, intervention and education on autism. The bill would establish the Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee to coordinate all efforts within the Department of Health and Human Services concerning autism. H.R. 2421 was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
