H.R.162—Use of Federal Funds for Research on Human Embryonic Stem Cells

On January 4, 2005, Representative Juanita Millender-McDonald (D-CA) introduced H.R. 162, a bill to "authorize the use of Federal funds for research on human embryonic stem cells irrespective of the date on which such stem cells were derived, and for other purposes." The bill was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
