The US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has a guide for managers, employees, and telework coordinators that includes guidance on supervisory issues, performance appraisal, and other topics of interest to Federal managers.
NIH conducted a telework pilot project in 2001. For that project, a telework consultant created toolkits for teleworkers and managers that contain a great deal of useful general information:
