DescriptionKnowledge learned and shared will be used to help propel progress in both basic and clinical arenas of research alike. For example, one of the sessions includes talks on novel functional imaging methods for non-invasively imaging neurofibrillary plaques and tangles in brains of Multiple Sclerosis subjects. This rare disease may undergo a revolution in clinical studies since the recent report of this new method employing functional magnetic resonance imaging with specific functional probes.
