Flavivirus Immune Epitope Analysis
May 12, 2009 - May 13, 2009
DC Metro Area, United States
Contact for additional information: Dr. Alison Deckhut Augustine, NIAID 301-496-7551

Description
The goals of this workshop are to refine the meta-analysis done by the IEDB team and to identify knowledge gaps and further research opportunities. Prior meta-analyses meetings have successfully accomplished both. Epitope information will be examined to identify protective immune responses, as well as those that may contribute to disease pathogenesis. Knowledge gained from this workshop can be applied to improved understanding of the requirements for generation of protective immunity, prevention of immune-mediated pathogenesis, and development of improved or novel vaccines and diagnostics for flaviviruses.
