Abstract: | (CIT): Our early research enabled the development of principles for controlled release of peptides and proteins, paving the way for new treatments for advanced prostate cancer. We have also created new degradable materials that have led to new treatments for brain cancer. Drug delivery technologies including novel polymers and intelligent microchips promise to create new treatments for cancer and other illnesses. New aerosol designs as well as new nanoparticle delivery systems for nucleic acids will also be discussed. |
