S. 14—The Fair Wage, Competition, and Investment Act of 2005

On January 24, 2005, Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) introduced S. 14, the Fair Wage, Competition, and Investment Act of 2005, which includes provisions to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to repeal limitations on contract research expenses paid to small businesses, universities, and Federal laboratories. S. 14 was referred to the Senate Committee on Finance.
