Metabolic Regulation Section

P Boon Chock, PhD, Principal Investigator

Research of the investigators in the Section on Metabolic Regulation is focused toward (1) elucidating the roles of free radicals/reactive oxygen species (ROS) in cellular regulation and in the etiology and progression of various diseases; (2) mechanistic studies of virion-cell fusion and of enzyme action and regulation, particularly those involved in cellular regulation via reversible covalent modification; and (3) development of methods and theories applicable to biomedical research.
