Metabolic Regulation Section
P Boon Chock, PhD, Principal
Investigator
Research of the investigators in the Section on Metabolic Regulation
is focused toward (1) elucidating the roles of free radicals/reactive
oxygen species (ROS) in cellular regulation and in the etiology
and progression of various diseases; (2) mechanistic studies of
virion-cell fusion and of enzyme action and regulation, particularly
those involved in cellular regulation via reversible covalent modification;
and (3) development of methods and theories applicable to biomedical
research.
