The NIH Library usually closes at 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday during the weeks of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

This year due to construction of a new, improved front entrance, the Library will close at 6:00 p.m. for an additional three weeks. The majority of the construction will take place after the Library closes.

Mondays	7:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.*
Tuesdays	7:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.*
Wednesdays	7:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.*
Thursdays	7:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.*
Fridays	7:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays	10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sundays	1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

*During the extra three weeks of early closings (December 8-19 and January 5-9) there will be a staff member in the Library Monday through Thursday evenings who can respond to telephone requests between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Please call our information desk at 301-496-1080.
