The Cochrane Library recently released a list of the top 20 most viewed Cochrane Systematic Reviews for 2007. The review topics indicate issues drawing attention from health professionals and researchers in the United States and around the world.

2007 Most Viewed Cochrane Systematic Reviews in the United States:

  1. Interventions for preventing obesity in children
  2. Interventions for preventing falls in elderly people
  3. Nicotine receptor partial agonists for smoking cessation
  4. Beta-blockers for hypertension
  5. Antibiotic treatment for Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea in adults
  6. Interventions for enhancing medication adherence
  7. Support surfaces for pressure ulcer prevention
