Evaluating and improving methods for measuring cancer outcomes is important to NCI's goal to enhance the quality
of cancer care, reduce cancer-related health disparities, and better understand the burden of disease on individuals
and populations.
The RRSS initiative contributes to a greater understanding of cancer outcomes by funding research on a variety
of outcomes measures.
