RGD: Rat Genome Database

Program Description

The Rat Genome Database (RGD) provides the research community with well annotated data and the necessary tools for data integration, data mining, and comparative analyses required to understand the mechanisms of human diseases. The RGD curates and integrates rat genetic and genomic data and provides access to this data to support research using the rat as a genetic model for the study of human diseases.

The NHLBI Program Officer for the RGD is Jennie Larkin, Ph.D.
