ORF was created in April 2003 to provide a single point of accountability for all NIH facility activities, to streamline information flow, and facilitate decision making on research and research support facility issues.

    For NIH and its community, promotes collaboration and cooperation to address issues of community concern and environmental impact; ensures that NIH activities that affect the community involve community representation and maintains effective communication and collaboration on policy and programs.

  • Office of Acquisition Management and Policy (OAMP)
    (formerly the Office of Contracts Management (OCM))
    Provides support for contracts and contract related activities and acquisitions.

  • Office of Human Resources
    Information and services related to employment at the NIH, including benefits and training.

  • Office of Strategic Management Planning
    OSMP provides strategic management planning services related to: workforce planning, administrative benchmarking, competitive sourcing, including A-76 / FAIR Act coordination and implementation, workforce transition and administrative restructuring, including study, consolidation and de-layering of administrative functions.

  • Division of Bioengineering and Physical Science (DBEPS)
    The DBEPS services have now become a part of The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB).
