Scopus™, is a newly licensed multidisciplinary database available from the Health Services Research Library. The broad subject coverage of the Scopus database is useful for health policy makers, health services researchers, and health care professionals alike to help further research, make policy decisions, and enable treatment decisions.
Scopus contains scientific, medical, social science and technical literature covering articles from over 14,000 journal titles. Your search in Scopus is also automatically run against the scientific web using Scirus, the web search engine for scientific information, the Federal Register, and 15 million records from the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Scopus is updated daily and contains records with abstracts going back to 1966. The database offers you basic, advanced, and author search options, as well as an email alert service.
To access Scopus, mouse-over Research Tools on the green menu bar of the HSRL website and click on Databases from the drop-down options. Scopus is listed alphabetically, near the bottom of the page.
