A
post-doctoral position is available to study the cell biology of neurotransmitter
receptor trafficking and localization at the synapse. My laboratory
combines a variety of molecular and biochemical techniques to elucidate
the molecular mechanisms regulating glutamate receptor transport and
stabilization at synaptic sites. Current studies focus on surface
expression and endocytosis of NMDA and metabotropic glutamate receptors.
Successful applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. in a relevant
discipline and less than 5 years of post-doctoral experience.
