A postdoctoral position is available to study the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying a number of hereditary neurological disorders. Studies will likely encompass biochemical characterization, immunocytochemistry, protein interaction studies, disruption of disease gene products in mammalian cell lines and cultured neurons, and transgenic and knock out disease models in mice. Interested candidates with experience in cell biology, protein biochemistry, molecular biology, or mouse models are encouraged to apply.
