How to add my e-mail to my NIH portal My Page User Guide
The portal is a great resource whether you’re working in or out of the office. One of its best features is its ability to consolidate many of the resources we use everyday into one useful tool that can be accessed from anywhere! Adding your e-mail and/or calendar to your main portal page is just one way you can enhance your portal experience.
At some point after logging in to the portal:
- Click on the "My Pages" tab and click on the "Add Portlets " option.
- The next page should give you a search feature and a series of folders and portlets to choose from. To find the Email portlet, you can either search on Email or select Browse All Folders. Then, select Email/Calendar/Contacts from the folder list.
- Click the boxes next to the Portlets you wish to add and click the Finish button.
- You may have to reset your preferences on the Portlet to see your e-mail.
- Fill out any of the necessary fields and change your viewing preferences.
- Click on "Finished" once more and you're done!
