H. Res. 278—Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis

On June 19, 2003, without objection, the House agreed to a resolution recognizing the contributions Lou Gehrig and his legacy have made in the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). The resolution supports cutting-edge research to find a cure for ALS and applauds the efforts of all organizations in their endeavors to raise awareness about the disease and support research initiatives. H. Res. 278 was introduced on June 16 by Representative Eliot Engel (D-NY).
